Little Peoples Early Learning Centre Tamworth South caters for children from the age of 6 weeks and up.
We are located just a short drive away from Tamworth South Public School, making this the perfect first step into your child’s educational journey.
We have a Long Day Care Program based off the Early Years Learning Framework, focusing on Being, Belonging, and Becoming. In addition, we work closely with teachers to provide an extensive transition to school program.
Our centre has a wide range of resources (including computers and a Smart Screen), age appropriate and shaded playground.
With long opening hours, we are open 7:30am-6pm, Monday to Friday.

Meet Katey, Your Centre Supervisor
Hi, my name is Katey Palmer, I am the Nominated Supervisor at Little Peoples Early Learning Centre Tamworth South.
I have been a Nominated Supervisor in my prior years of working with Little Peoples where I have gained the experience and knowledge that I can now use to my advantage in my position as Nominated Supervisor with Little Peoples. I use my knowledge to help guide each individual team member in being the best that they can be.
My career in Early Childhood Education began 20 years ago where I earned my Certificate III and have worked my way up over the years to achieve completing my Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Teaching.
With over 5 years of leadership and experience I take the role as a team leader with pride to ensure that myself and fellow educators develop the skills and knowledge needed to provide the best experience for all educators and families.
The reason I decided to become a teacher in early childhood is that I enjoy watching children reach their own milestones and continue to grow and learn new skills and retain the new information they are taught each day.

Child Care Subsidy (CCS) is paid directly to services to help with the cost of child care for families who use approved and/or registered care such as this Little Peoples Centre. You can claim this subsidy using your Centrelink online account through myGov.

Link your myGov account to Centrelink – you can do this under ‘Services’.
Once an account has been created you must log in and complete your Child Care Subsidy Assessment.
The Child Care Subsidy is income tested and is assessed by Centrelink in conjunction with the Governments determined priority of access guidelines for child care centres and child immunisation requirements.
