Early Learning Centre & Childcare in Bowral

Little Peoples Early Learning Centre Bowral provides high-quality childcare and early education for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. As a family-owned and operated centre, we create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, explore, and grow.

Our long day care programs run 52 weeks a year, closing only for Public Holidays, ensuring flexibility for families. We follow the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), focusing on Being, Belonging, and Becoming, with a comprehensive Transition to School Program that supports a smooth progression to primary school.

What We Offer at Our Bowral Childcare Centre

✔ Engaging Early Learning Programs
We tailor our programs for different age groups, encouraging creativity, curiosity, and independence. Through structured activities and play-based learning, children develop essential skills in a supportive setting.

✔ Preschool Program (School Readiness)
Our preschool program focuses on preparing children for big school through early literacy, numeracy, communication, and social skills. Guided by the EYLF, children develop confidence, resilience, and a love of learning as they transition toward school.

✔ Nursery Care
Our nursery program provides gentle, responsive care for infants and toddlers. Educators create secure routines that support early development, bonding, sensory exploration, and physical milestones in a calm, nurturing setting.

✔ Technology-Enhanced Learning
Incorporating computers and smart screens, our programs introduce technology in a fun and educational way to support early learning.

✔ Safe & Stimulating Outdoor Play Areas
Outdoor learning is a key part of our approach. Our SunSmart-certified play areas, approved by the Cancer Council, ensure children stay active and safe while developing motor and social skills.

✔ Flexible Long Day Care
Open 52 weeks a year (excluding public holidays), our long day care in Bowral supports working families with flexible hours and consistent, high-quality childcare.

Supervisor Profile Image

Meet Talia , Your Centre Supervisor

Hi, my name is Talia Huxtable, and I am the nominated supervisor at Little People’s Early Learning Centre in Bowral.

My journey in early childhood education began in 2013 when I started my traineeship in the babies’ room. Since then, I’ve had the chance to work across all three rooms, which has helped me develop a strong understanding of different age groups and the many ways children learn and grow. Over the years, I’ve continued working here while also welcoming my three children, and becoming a parent myself has only deepened my passion for supporting children and families.

Throughout my time, I’ve built positive and trusting relationships with children, families, and colleagues. It is a privilege to be part of each child’s learning journey, to watch them reach new milestones, and to support them as they grow into confident and capable learners.

I believe that when educators work together, we create richer experiences and a meaningful learning community for the children in our care. I truly value a collaborative team environment where everyone feels supported, respected, and encouraged to share their ideas and strengths.

I look forward to meeting you and your family and being part of your child’s learning journey in a warm, inclusive, and nurturing environment.
Best Regards,
Talia
