  • Plan, implement and evaluate high-quality educational programs for children based on the Early Years Learning Framework.

What you need

Qualifications and Experience:

The candidate must hold a relevant qualification, such as a TAFE Child Care Certificate or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Children Services Office for conditional approval. Additionally, possessing sufficient knowledge and experience to perform the duties at this level is essential.

  • Diploma (Cert III Working towards Diploma will be considered).
  • A valid Working with Children’s Check.
  • Current First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain)
  • Developing, planning, implementing and evaluating childcare programs under supervision.
  • Liaising with parents and ensuring a safe environment for children
  • Maintaining up to date records for each child in their care
  • Supervising and providing guidance to unqualified workers
  • Ensuring compliance with the centres policies
