Supervisor Profile Image

Meet Daniela, Your Centre Supervisor

My name is Daniela Brecely Di Noro. I am proud to be the Nominated Supervisor and Educational Leader at Oak Flats Little People Early Learning Centre.

My Passion for Early Childhood Education began from a young age, I knew I had a passion for working with children and have been working with them for over 35years. I have had the privilege of working across multiple services in leadership roles, including Director, Nominated Supervisor, Teacher, and Educational Leader. These experiences have allowed me to develop a deep understanding of quality early childhood education, team leadership, and the importance of nurturing strong partnerships with families.

I started as a Director of a long day care centre for many years and then retrained to work with children with extra / special needs. Following this I retrained at Uni and became a teacher, working with children from K- yr 12. But my passion lives with early childhood education and assisting early childhood educators learn and expand their skills and knowledge. So before starting with Little People I was Assistant Director and Educational Leader for a Long Day Care Centre.

The first five years of life are a crucial period of development, learning, and discovery, and I feel privileged to witness children grow into their individuality every day. I believe in hands on play-based learning and culturally inclusive education. My pedagogy flows from theorists such as Jean Piaget (cognitive development), Lev Vygotsky (sociocultural theory and language), Maria Montessori (self-directed learning), Erik Erikson (psychosocial development), John Bowlby (attachment theory), and Urie Bronfenbrenner (ecological systems theory).

As an Early Childhood Teacher, Nominated Supervisor and Educational Leader, my professional goal is to enhance my expertise in the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) to effectively support and inspire both educators and children. I aim to deepen the teams understanding of the EYLF principles and practices, ensuring that our curriculum is not only compliant but also rich in quality and relevance to the diverse needs of our children.

I am committed to teaching all aspects of programming, including the use of learning journals and other technological tools that can enhance documentation and assessment practices. By integrating digital resources, I intend to streamline communication with families and provide them with meaningful insights into their child’s development, fostering a collaborative learning journey.

As a dedicated team player, I will actively engage with my colleagues, sharing knowledge and resources to strengthen our collective practice. I believe that working collaboratively will enhance our ability to create an enriching environment for the children we serve.

My vision is to cultivate a warm, welcoming, and educationally stimulating atmosphere where children feel safe to explore, learn, and grow. I aim to implement innovative and fun learning experiences that ignite children’s curiosity and love for learning. By fostering a sense of community among children, families, and staff, we can create an environment that supports the holistic development of every child.

At Oak Flats, our team is committed to creating an engaging and nurturing environment for children aged 0 to 5 years. Being a centre with 6 classrooms, we offer a close-knit, family-like atmosphere in each room, allowing us to build strong, meaningful relationships with both children and families. Our priority is to ensure that every child feels safe, supported, and encouraged to explore, play, and learn. Building Strong Family Partnerships

I believe that strong partnerships with families are essential in helping children reach their emotional, social, and physical developmental milestones. I am always open to conversations, questions, and feedback, ensuring that all families feel welcome, valued, and supported by our team.

I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be part of this wonderful community and look forward to continuing to support, guide, and inspire both current and future families at Oak Flats Little Peoples Early Learning Centre.

Meals at Little Peoples

At Little Peoples, we know that healthy eating habits start early. Proper nutrition plays a vital role in children’s health and development. That’s why our menu meets all daily dietary requirements, ensuring children receive well-balanced meals throughout the day.

We partner with Kids Gourmet Food to provide fresh, nutritious meals daily. Our menu rotates every six weeks, exposing children to a variety of flavors, textures, and ingredients. This approach not only broadens their palate but also ensures they get the recommended nutritional intake every day.

Special Dietary Needs?

If your child has food allergies, sensitivities, or special nutritional needs, please inform the Centre Supervisor so we can accommodate them.

Nut & Egg-Free Policy

To keep all children safe, our centre is a nut and egg-free environment.
