Hi, my name is Jessica Rolet, and I am the Nominated Supervisor at Little Peoples Brooks Reach.
I began my career in Early Childhood when I was seventeen years old at a small service after two years, Little Peoples took over and then I began my Little Peoples journey in 2013 at the Dapto Little Peoples Centre (No longer Little Peoples) as a casual employee. Later, in 2017, I transitioned to our Lake Heights Centre, where I worked as a Diploma Educator in the Preschool Room. Eventually, I became the Nominated Supervisor at Lake Heights before moving to Brooks Reach service in 2021.
In 2023, I took maternity leave to welcome my beautiful daughter. Upon my return, I was offered the role of Nominated Supervisor at Brooks Reach, where I now lead an incredible team of educators.
I hold a Diploma in Childhood Education and Care and I am currently completing my degree Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Teaching – Birth to 5 years)
At Little Peoples Brooks Reach, our educators are dedicated to building meaningful relationships with children, families, and the community. We provide safe and inviting environments that encourages creativity, independence, and exploration. Each educator applies the Child Safe Standards in their daily practices.
Our play-based learning approach supports problem-solving, imagination, and social interaction. We believe in child-centered learning, where children self-guide their development with the support of educators, peers, and their environment.
I strongly believe in Urie Bronfenbrenner’s Ecological Systems Theory, which highlights how a child’s development is influenced by different environments and relationships. By collaborating with families, we can enhance a child’s learning and development, providing the best start in life.
I am passionate about fostering diversity, inclusion, and respect. By introducing children to different cultures, religions, and backgrounds, we help them develop empathy and social awareness from an early age.
We look forward to welcoming you! If you have any questions, feel free to contact us or book a tour to meet our amazing team.
Warmest Regards,
Jessica
