Meet Cheryl, Your Centre Supervisor
Hi, my name is Cheryl, and I am the Nominated Supervisor of Little Peoples Ingleburn.
I began my Little Peoples journey as a Diploma Trained Educator in 2016, while studying a Bachelor of Education (Birth to Five Years) at Charles Sturt University. During this time, I worked across various roles in the centre, including cook, Babies, Toddlers, and Preschool rooms.
After completing my university degree, I became a Lead Educator in the Babies Room in 2020. I then gained experience in the Early Learning Room before stepping into the role of Educational Leader. In 2022, I was appointed Nominated Supervisor, a role I continue in while also leading the Preschool Room and the Transition to School Program.
Through these experiences, I have developed a strong understanding of the centre’s values, team culture, and learning environments. I am committed to creating engaging and meaningful learning spaces for children, families, and educators.
As Nominated Supervisor, I aim to reflect these values and support my team in delivering high-quality education and care. I believe in building a centre based on integrity, responsibility, and community, where children can learn through play, develop meaningful relationships, and grow with confidence.
Our dedicated team provides interest-based programs that encourage children to explore and develop essential skills. We offer a School Readiness Program, community projects focusing on sustainability, science, and gardening, and welcome family cultural celebrations to foster a sense of belonging.
As I continue my journey at Little Peoples Ingleburn, I look forward to working alongside our wonderful team, families, and children to create a positive and enriching learning experience for all.
