Early Learning Centre Berkeley

Little Peoples Early Learning Centre Berkeley caters for children from the age of 18 months and up. As we are located across the road from the Berkeley Public School, we are able to provide Out of School Hours Care for those students.
We have a Long Day Care Program based off the Early Years Learning Framework, focusing on Being, Belonging, and Becoming. In addition, we work closely with teachers to provide an extensive transition to school program.
Our centre has a wide range of resources (including computers and a Smart Screen), age appropriate and shaded soft fall playground, and we are proud that our centre is approved by the Cancer Council. With long opening hours, we are open 52 weeks a year closing only for Public Holidays.

Meet Rosemary, Your Centre Supervisor

Hi my name is Rosemary and I am the Nominated Supervisor for Little Peoples Early Learning Centre Berkeley.

I have been on my journey with Little Peoples since 2012 were I started off my career as a trainee at Berkeley and completed my Certificate III. This is when I discovered my true passion for early childhood education and supporting children to develop their love of learning.  I then continued to further my studies and completed my diploma and also my Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Teaching – birth to 5 years). Over my time with Little Peoples, I have had experience as a Room Leader, Nominated Supervisor and Educational Leader across our Berkeley and Horsley services. While also having the opportunity to experience working across multiple age groups.

As an educator I believe that families are children’s first and most influential teachers, therefore it is extremely important that educators and families work in partnership with one another to support children in reaching their individual potential. At Little Peoples Berkeley we strive to build positive relationships with families and encourage families to share their ideas and contributions to build a meaningful program for the children.

Our friendly team of educators strive to create a welcoming and inviting learning environments that allows children to feel safe and secure to explore, discover, create, solve problems, make choices and build new understanding of the world around them. Our programs are inclusive and based on the interests and strengths of the children, so every child can thrive.

Please feel free to contact us to book a tour of our service and meet our friendly team at Berkeley. We look forward to welcoming you and your family.

Kind Regards,

Rosemary
